Rory “Rick” Reese is a senior TV journalist and seven time Emmy winner. Since 1982 he’s covered numerous breaking stories for ABC TV Network News: Katrina, 9/11, Desert Storm, and the Challenger explosion, along with presidential campaigns, political conventions and Winter Olympics. His assignments have taken him around the globe: Beirut, Kuwait, Sarajevo and Kosovo. Also, he routinely covers Capitol Hill and the White House.
Rick’s segments appear on Good Morning America, Nightline, World News Tonight and 20/20. He won Columbia University’s coveted Alfred duPont Award for broadcasting. A University of Maryland graduate, he did advanced television study at M.I.T. He was a founder of public radio station WPFW in Washington.
